test: refactoring
* Test vectors are now stored in the Python script rather than in a JSON
file.
* The tests are now really Python's unittest `TestCase`s, allowing (at
least in the future) to discover and run them automatically.
* Use logging from the standard library for logging.
* Bugfix & refactoring.
